Brian D. Hunt is the founder of The Meeting House in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and has roots in Virginia’s rich spiritual heritage. At 13, he was baptized in the Holy Spirit under Pastor Ruth Ward Heflin’s guidance. Heflin was also his spiritual mother. After graduating from ministry school in 2016, Hunt pursued his calling despite opposition from traditional religious systems. His mission is to facilitate genuine encounters with Jesus and foster a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Meeting House continues to grow as a spiritual refuge, fulfilling its divine assignment.

Rita H. Hunt is the co-founder of The Meeting House in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Rita working along with her son has a heart for this region. also, a Virginia Native with rich spiritual heritage, graduating from Blue Ridge School of the Prophets under the leadership of Apostle Joseph Crandall. Rita a powerhouse in prayer, preaching and teaching, she is the head of the Ladies Intercessory group, Outreach Kitchen and is commonly called by many "Momma".  At her graduation in 1989 Apostle Joe prophesied over her that she would be a mother in Zion, and to this day she is walking out that very word. A heart for people and a heart for God, along with her son they are pioneering a work that is creating a safe place for those who are hurting, hopeless and in need of healing. Over the last 10+ years she has welcomed many into her home, cooking meals, a shoulder to cry on, a needed hug, or prayer .... Her mission is to see a genuine encounter with Jesus and to foster a powerful outpouring of the Spirit of God. The Meeting House continues to grow as a spiritual refuge, fulfilling it divine assignment.
